Buying Pre-1965 Coins
Are your coins worth more than you think?
Roosevelt and Mercury Dimes, Washington Quarters and Walking Liberty Franklin and Kennedy Half-Dollars minted in 1964 and earlier are 90% silver. The value of most circulated coins minted in the 1920′s through 1964 is primarily from their silver content. We will and do pay more for any better coins you may have!

Built on a Passion for Collecting
Cards & Coins of Fargo, ND, was built on a passion for collecting sports cards and coins. U.S. coins minted before 1964 and earlier. Unlike today’s coins, which are mostly copper and nickel, these dimes, quarters, half dollars and dollars were produced of 90% silver! These coins are sought out by both coin and precious metal collectors. Please call today if you would like to sell your collection.
More than Face Value
Silver prices have risen and these coins may be worth 15 times their face value. As a general rule, the older your coin is, the higher the value. Dimes, quarters and half dollars minted before 1916 in the U.S., if not overly damaged, may carry a premium above silver value.
Cards & Coins will purchase pre-1965 coins and collections and I’ll never undervalue your items. If you have coins that you would like appraised, never clean or polish them; collectors prefer coins in their natural condition and cleaning them up will decrease their value!
